Show:

Cooper has multi class in-group awards together with Best & Runner Up in Group. He attained his Australian Championship title at just under 2 years of age. Cooper was Runner Up Puppy and Junior of the Year for the WCNSW. He has gained places at Weimaraner Specialty Shows in Best Headed Dog and won the Australian Bred class at the October 2005 Specialty. He was placed third in the Australian Bred class at the Weimaraner Specialty Show in April 2007. Cooper won best Australian Bred in Show at the Milton show in March 2006. Cooper was in the 2008 Sydney Royal Easter Show breeders group which won Best Breeders Group for the Gundog Group. Cooper was graded “Very Good” at the Weimaraner Specialty Show October 2008. Cooper currently has 294 points.

Obedience:

As for his obedience accolades he gained his Companion Dog (CD) Title 28 May 2005 with two first places and a second place in just 4 trials prior to 3 1/2 years of age.

Cooper has been trialling in the Utility Dog (UD) ring. He has gained two third places in the ring.

Gundog Work:

Cooper has gained his Gundog Working Test Novice qualification in August 2007.
Following are the details which gave Cooper this qualification;
Blacktown Kennel and Training Club Inc –Judge Mrs A D Yerbury 92 points out of 100. 2nd Place.
Maitland Dog Obedience Club Inc – Judge Mrs A D Yerbury 95 points out of 100. 2nd Place.
Werriwa All Breeds Dog Training Club Inc – Judge Pam Lyons 93 points out of 100. 2nd Place.
Cooper gained his first pass in Open Gundog at Werriwa All Breeds Dog Training Club on 16 August 2008. Judge Mr F Hession (NSW) 83 points out of 100. 1st Place.
Cooper gained his second pass in Open Gundog at Southern Highlands Kennel and Obedience Club on 19 October 2008. His result was 2nd place with 88 points out of 100 under Judge V Jones (NSW).

Endurance Test:

Cooper easily gained his Endurance Test (ET) Title in Canberra on 29 June 2008 under Judge Michael Stuart (Vic) at ACTCA.
Dog Dancing / Canine Musical Freestyle:
Cooper has been involved in Canine Musical Freestyle more commonly known as Dancing with your Dog. His first performance was on 12 April 2008 receiving a certificate of participation. He was asked to be involved in the dog dancing team demonstration on 29 June 2008. He has also participated in workshops.

Photographic / Multi Media:

Cooper was involved in a photography shoot for the Purina 30 Day Challenge – his photo’s were used for their booklet/brochure, with compliment slips, envelopes their website, DVD cover and a large poster promoting Purina which was on prominent display in their kiosk at the 2006 and 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show just outside the Dog Pavilion. In January 2008 Cooper was again used for a Purina photography shoot for their Pro Plan product. His photo was used in their poster’s and their National advertising merchandise in stores such as Pet Barn, Pet Care 2000, Bully Beef Menai etc. Brochures were also produced for their campaign with Cooper’s photo appearing on them.
A photo of Cooper was also used in the Macarthur Advertiser – his photo was a third tabloid page size showing him jumping a broad jump at the 2006 Macarthur Trial. (photographer Jonathon Ng from the Campbelltown Macarthur Advertiser).

Demonstrations:

Cooper participated in and represented in Macarthur Dog Training Club’s Open Team at the 2006, 2007 and 2008 Inter Club Challenge Obedience Trial. In 2007 the team achieved 5th place out of 39 teams who participated. In 2006 Cooper also represented the Macarthur Dog Training Club in the Campbelltown Fisher’s Ghost Parade Demonstration Team and also in the street parade. Cooper also represented this club in their obedience demonstration team at Campbelltown’s “Pooches in the Park” day in May 2008. Cooper performed a lunchtime obedience demonstration at the October 2008 Weimaraner Club of NSW Specialty Show.

COOPER WAS AWARDED THE WEIMARANER CLUB OF NSW FRED ARNOLD VERSATILE WEIMARANER OF THE YEAR FOR 2006 & 2007. The only Weimaraner ever to have been awarded this prestigious award twice.
